Telehealth Appointments
Insight Evaluations Group offers telehealth speech and language evaluations for Social Security disability claims. These appointments are available for adults and for children ages 5 and up, and must be arranged and approved through your adjudicator.
Evaluations are conducted via Zoom and include a brief intake interview, standardized and clinical testing and, when appropriate, informal observation and a parent/caregiver interview.
To participate, you will need:
· A tablet (minimum 9.7-inch screen), laptop, or desktop computer *
· A reliable internet connection.
· A quiet, well-lit, and private space.
You will receive detailed instructions at least 24 hours before your appointment, and all telehealth appointments must be confirmed 48 hours in advance. At the time of the evaluation, the claimant must be physically located within the State of Illinois.
Final reports are typically submitted to Disability Determination Services (DDS) within 5–10 days.
